I would like to invite you and members of your

organization to exhibit at the Louisiana DECA

Career Development Conference.  DECA is a

student organization whose purpose is “Preparing

emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing,

finance, hospitality and management.”  The

Louisiana DECA organization is over 76 years old. 

DECA’s unique role is to provide professional

experiences and leadership development to its members as they further their education and prepare for dynamic careers in marketing, management, travel and tourism, finance, and entrepreneurship.  The annual Louisiana DECA Career Development Conference attracts 300 high school students from across the state.  Students are involved in over 40 competitive events that have been developed for each occupational area and focus on skills an employee would need in those occupations. 

 

If you have a product or service of interest to high school students, you can request a FREE exhibitor booth at our Louisiana DECA State Career Development Conference.   We offer this service FREE-OF-CHARGE in order to make the student experience even better.  There is no charge for the booth.  We will provide a 6-foot skirted table and 2 chairs.  Please contact Dennis Volentine for details at Decadennis@hotmail.com or (225) 291-1465 and let him that you want a table and your name, your phone #, and the name of your company.  Space is limited.

 

The conference will be held at the Baton Rouge Marriott Hotel, 5500 Hilton Ave., Baton Rouge, LA 70808 (just off I-10 at the College Drive exit).  The exhibit date is Monday, February 27, 2023 from 7 a.m.-2 p.m.  Exhibitors can set up any time after 8:00 p.m. on Sunday or early on Monday morning.

DECA.
