The Louisiana Marketing Educators (LME) is an organization of teachers
and other professional with an interest in marketing education.
LME is a divisional organization under the umbrella of the Louisiana
Association of Career & Technical Education (LACTE) and the American
Association of Career & Technical Education (AACTE).
LME, LACTE, and AACTE work together to support career and technical
education and work to keep Perkins Funds in place for CT educational
programs. LME also works to support DECA activities.
The annual meeting of LME is held at the state conference of LACTE,
usually in February or early March each year. Officers are also
elected at the annual meeting. Other meetings, if needed, may
be held at the La. DECA Fall Leadership Conference an at the La. DECA
CDC. Dues are $15 for LME. An application can be obtained
