The International Career Development Conference (ICDC) is the highlight of the DECA year. Between 13,000-16,000 students, advisors, business persons and alumni gather for several days of DECA excitement. Most participants are at ICDC to compete in one of DECA’s competency based competitive events. The top competitors in each event are recognized for their outstanding achievements. In addition to the competitive events many students and advisors participate in the following activities:

DECA LEADS (training or state officers)
Senior Management Institute (for seniors only--come meet some famous CEOs and sit down and talk with them)

Leadership Development Academy (open to any student who is not in a competitive event)

Chaper Management Academy  (state Gold Level Chapter Awards Program students can attend)

Advisor Academy (for all advisors)
